Your Reason Why!

To be successful in your career, business your health or any other aspect of your life you need to have a big enough reason to get out of bed each morning!

If that reason isn’t significant enough then what is going to drive you each day to get up and do what’s needed to get you to where you want to be!?

A lot of people have a driving force but they’re just not aware of it. Something motivates them or get’s them out of bed each day to face the world.

For me it’s inspiring, helping and adding value to others and to set an example for the people who look up to me.

It’s these reasons why I look forward to Mondays and not dread them.

It’s these reasons why I feel like there’s not enough time in the day and why the days seem to go so fast!

It’s these reasons why I get up and train my butt off as often as I can.

It’s these reasons why I get out of bed each day!

So what is your WHY?

If you haven’t thought about it, grab a pen and do the following exercise:

  1. Write down your most important goal in as much detail as possible, be very specific, avoid general terms like ‘I want to lose weight’... Detail how much and by when, etc.

  2. List 3 reasons WHY you want to achieve this, again be very specific and non superficial. The more you dig here with the underlying reasons behind your goals, the better understanding you will have about your goals and the bigger drive you will have to achieving them.

  3. Write down 2-3 small daily tasks or goals you must do to achieve your long-term goal. These are non-negotiable habits that you will commit to, like brushing your teeth. They need to be simple and attainable.

Now keep your WHY at the front of your mind, like on your bedside table or in your wallet, and when you’re having a challenging day, you can look at these and remember why you started!
